“AMBROISE SUITE” is a new art series by American artist Bob Kessel. It draws its inspiration from the “Vollard Suite”, a series of 100 etchings by Pablo Picasso commissioned by Ambroise Vollard in 1930.

Ambroise Vollard was a French art dealer who is regarded as one of the most important dealers in French contemporary art at the beginning of the twentieth century. He is credited with being a major supporter and champion of the contemporary artists of his period, including Cézanne, Renoir, Picasso, Derain, Rouault, Gauguin, and van Gogh.
